Utopian Society -Desolatus

The village design was made by hand because is was way easier that way than doing it in HomeStyler.

Aqua - Government Department
Blue - School Building
Green - Entertainment Center (Theater, soccer fields and etc.)
Light Green - Market
Purple - Job Department Management
Yellow - Hospital
Grey (beside the Government Department) - Security Department
Light Purple - Farming Fields
Light Red -  Wind Electricity Fields
Orange - Hydroelectric Power Plant








When I read the book The Giver by Lois Lowry, it was about the life of a boy living on a Utopian society, so as you might guess, the assignment was to make one ourselves. This took part as a group project, and my job was to make the houses design and the village design too. The name of our perfect community was Desolatus that means Isolated in Latin.
The house design is made in a web program named HomeStyler you can make houses, building, entire cities and etc. and it's really nice to use it but it slow down your computer when you use it.
